What we checked
A rooftop system is a fixed installation notified under G98 or G99. MCS certification of the product and the installer is separate, and is what a supplier requires before paying an export tariff under the Smart Export Guarantee. Nothing in SI 2026/848 applies here. What we can check from a published specification is whether the equipment appears on the register that does govern it.
