What we checked
Home storage is a fixed installation. It is notified to the local network operator under G98 (up to 16A per phase) or applied for under G99 above that, and MCS certification of the installer is what unlocks the grant and export schemes. The 800W cap and the plug-and-socket test from SI 2026/848 have nothing to do with this category — that instrument governs plug-in solar only. What we can check from a published specification is whether the equipment appears on the register that does govern it.
- Appears on the ENA register — Not yet verifiedWe have not matched this kit to a specific entry on the Energy Networks Association Connect Direct register. Vendor names and model names on the register frequently differ from retail names, so an unmatched kit may well be registered under a name we have not linked yet. We would rather say we do not know than guess.
